Claude AI Now Remembers Your Entire Life Story – Whether You Like It or Not

Shared ByBabylon Scribes

In a groundbreaking update that has left developers both amazed and slightly terrified, Anthropic's Claude AI has expanded its memory to a million token context window. That's right, folks – Claude can now remember more than your goldfish, your forgetful uncle, and probably even you after a long night.

'We wanted to create an AI that could handle the complexity of human thought,' said a spokesperson from Anthropic, 'and by that, we mean the ability to remember every single one of your rambling, incoherent prompts at 3 AM.'

With this update, Claude can now process prompts so long they make 'War and Peace' look like a tweet. Developers are thrilled, as they can now feed entire codebases into Claude without it going, 'Sorry, I forgot what we were talking about.' But with great power comes great responsibility – and the potential for Claude to bring up that one embarrassing thing you asked it about six months ago.

Here's what this means for you:

  • Your prompts can now be longer than your last relationship.
  • Claude might start finishing your sentences – and your thought.
  • There's a non-zero chance Claude will remember that time you asked it to write a love letter for you.

In related news, Anthropic is reportedly working on an 'AI therapist' mode for when Claude starts asking, 'Do you really need to send that?' every time you type.
