Observe Cashes In Big While the Rest of Us Just Observe

Shared ByBabylon Scribes

In a shocking turn of events that absolutely nobody saw coming, Observe, the company that somehow turned watching software into a $156 million payday, has done it again. This time, they've secured a Series C round that's so large, it could probably buy a small island or at least a very fancy observatory.

What's their secret, you ask? Well, it's simple: they've mastered the art of observing. That's right, while the rest of us are out here trying to fix bugs and prevent our servers from catching fire, Observe is just... watching. And somehow, that's worth more than the GDP of a small country.

By the end of the year, Observe plans to add support for Apache Iceberg, because nothing says "cutting-edge technology" like naming your software after things that are cold and dangerous. "We're thrilled to continue our mission of watching other people's code run," said a spokesperson, probably while sipping champagne on a golden yacht.

In related news, the rest of the tech industry is considering rebranding to similarly passive verbs. "Maybe if we call ourselves 'Glance' or 'Nod Approvingly,' we can also get millions in funding," mused one jealous developer.

So, what's next for Observe? Rumor has it they're working on a revolutionary new feature: the ability to observe you observing them observing your software. It's observation-ception, and it's going to be huge.
